Mar Ivanios Orthodox Students Centre
[A Golden Jubilee Project of St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Pala]
Pala is the hosting place of numerous educational institutions ranging from Senior Professional Colleges to Training Centres for multifaceted professions and professional courses. A large number of students from different parts of the country and abroad are temporarily settled in the region for different courses. The Centre offers all possible pastoral supports to the students. The Centre is dedicated in the blessed name of His Grace Geevarghese Mar Ivanios, the luminary Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocese who has always prioritized the spiritual needs of the younger generations.
The Centre offers:
- Sacramental, spiritual and emotional supports to the students, on request.
- Guidance on accommodations and academic directives for progressive advancements.
- Services of clinical psychologists and Counseling for students and families, on registration.
- Seminars, Preparatory classes for exams and relevant workshops for School and College Students.
- Orientation for students and parents on managing the stress levels, with diverse practical future way-outs.
- Exhortations and timely Seminars on Orthodox Faith and Worship.
